ABOUT PHILLIP
IN GENERAL:
Born in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California (Los Angeles area) in 1952, and some years later
graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, California in 1971. During this time Phillip had
became an Eagle Scout Boy Scout, played a lot of baseball, and in the summer of 1970 Phillip began a
career in the Martial Arts (Kenpo Karate), now involved for over 55 years.
Phillip joined the US Army in 1973 - 1976.
Back to school in 1979 - 1983: AA Psychology. BA degree in Political Science/International Relations;
Phillip received "Highest Honors" Accolades.
In 1984 Phillip received his MBA in Consumer Product Marketing and Finance. Since that time he has
worked as a Special Projects Consultant. Following are two of Phillip's more interesting accomplishments.
*Between 1993-1996, shortly after the fall of the Soviet Communists, Phillip developed the RAMS Project
(Russian American Marketing Services) in Moscow, Russia with offices also in Kiev, Ukraine;
Minsk, Belarus; and Sacramento, California. Sanctioned by the USDoS, clients included Kodak,
Mercedes Benz, Coca Cola, Rothmans Plc, Raster Corp, Deloitte and Touche, and several others.
*Between 1999-2001 Phillip developed the FEED Project (Food Efficiency & Economic Development) for
three Agencies of the United Nations Organization (the UN - FAO; WFP; IFAD). For Phillip, The FEED
Project culminated when he became the Invited Guest Symposium Presenter at the UNs 2001 World
Food Security Conference in Rome, Italy. Phillip presented to 78 individuals representing 42 different
national governments. USDoS, USDA, Senator Feinstein (D-CA), Senator Boxer (D-CA), Ambassador
George McGovern, others.
Most recently Phillip developed a new Integrated Business Model Approach to Veterans' Homeless
(Veterans' Joint Taskforce on Homelessness) for the VA in Washington, DC, 2024.
Goal oriented, and driven by challenge.... Success is a bi-produce of knowledge, experience, fortitude, and
goal driven educated tenacity.
REGARDING GOD:
Before Phillip was 6 years old he had already started asking questions at church that no one could answer. For him something about the lessons he was being taught just didn't add-up.
How did the Three Wise Men know to follow the Star and that they would find Jesus?
Why did all the neat stuff (events & miracles) why did all that happen over 2000 years ago and why doesn't any of that stuff happen now?
When is Jesus coming back?
If people wrote the Bible how do we know it is from God?
As a child:
Phillip would have dreams... Flying dreams
Phillip would have dreams... In which he could talk to himself
Phillip would have dreams... He could see himself in a 3rd person perspective and then move, at will
between 1st and 3rd perspectives.
Phillip would have dreams... In which he could see and talk to himself and direct the events in the dream.
Phillip had a dream one night in which an individual spoke to him and told him that he would not find his true success in life until the end of his career (just the opposite of his father) and that God would guide him. He was also told that during his life he would experience almost everything that could be experienced - except murder or rape. What a ride it has been.
After the age of about 8 Phillip stopped having this kind of dream. No dreams, no messages, no apparent guidance.. just kind of hung out there on his own... Life started happening.
PERSONAL:
Phillip was the youngest of 5 children, 4 living. When he was 6 years old his father deserted the family so he could marry Phillip's babysitter. She was 19, Father was 39. Of course she was a member of our church.
Shortly after that Phillip was sexually fondled several times by a relative, then a bit later, by an adult male, and then again, after we moved, by another adult male. Of course these events had a profound affect on Phillip's self-image, feelings of security, and self-confidence. Phillip moved through the years with little motivation, little guidance, and no real "life Goals."
In 1963, the same year President Kennedy was assassinated, all 5th graders in California were required to take the "California Mental Maturity Test," an IQ precursor. Out of the approximately 184,000 California fifth graders there were 2 who tested in 99th percentile - Phillip was one. A month later Phillip, his Mother, and the other kid and his mother were at SRI - Stanford Research Institute - in Menlo Park, California for the first of two actual IQ tests. When Phillip, unmotivated scored a 154 IQ. On the second one, a week later, he scored a 158.
Phillip always asks: What is the difference between being "Intelligent" and being "Smart?" Do you know?
Intelligence is what God gives you, what you are born with. Being Smart is what you do with it... how you use it. These two are very different, and just because you have intelligence does not automatically mean that you are Smart. Phillip is a prime example of this.
Between the ages of 8 and 50 Phillip really did not have the drive to find the true "God" in his life. In 1973 he went into the Army and did his duty to the country, and got out in 1976. Phillip worked for a couple of years and then went back to school in 1979. Phillip met Dawn, who would become his wife and married now for 47 years. In 1981 a son was born and in 1986 a daughter. Now living in Dallas, Texas.
Phillip was living a "normal" life until the 1st of four inexplicable events took place, beginning in 1986. This first event began a change in Phillip's life Perspective, as you can imagine. (click here)
