SPIRITUALITY

 

 

I want to speak with you first about Spirituality... something we are losing in our modern day society.

 

When a society loses its spiritual connection it loses one of the most important aspects of the human experience – we lose morals and ethics; the difference between right and wrong; how to get along with one another; a sense of belonging to something bigger than ourselves; and an idea of what happens after we are dead.

 

A lose of Spirituality will begin the death of a society and its culture. It can throw a nation into chaos, as we are currently seeing in our nation today.

 

Today people need something to believe in, but not something that is 2000 years old, based in magic and superstition, and which promotes a wealthy, power-centered hierarchical structure (the church) which always subordinates us, controls us, threatens us, and is actually mostly concerned with power and money.
