CONNECTING
We know that we are connected - unequivocally united with Man and the Godhead through energy; but there are many, many individual and specific streams of energy within this connection. There is a different stream for each idea or concept that we consider a part of our “reality.” For example; People will often pray for strength; but there are many different kinds of strength: Physical and emotional come to mind first. Other kinds of strength include; perseverance, endurance, tolerance, forgiveness, knowledge, understanding, etc. Each of these and the many other aspects of our reality has it's own stream or connecting thread of energy.
It is within our abilities to feel, understand, identify and access these individual and specific streams of energy. Once we learn and are able to access a specific stream we can use it to build our own ability; to improve or affect a situation, or even have an effect on other individuals.
This sounds crazy but consider this: The power of prayer is a very real thing. We have all heard stories of miraculous outcomes through the power of prayer. It is true that the vast majority of people who pray don't know how to affect these streams of energy so when they pray they send out a one-way energy which is weak and generalized; without being coupled or joined with, or magnified by a specific stream of energy – streams or threads of energy which flow through and connects each of us and the Godhead into one being. Even a weak, generalized, one-way energy can have a net effect, especially if it comes from a group. So, with this being true, then what could be done if prayer was a process of connecting to, magnifying and utilizing a specific thread of energy, with a specific targeted purpose and potential outcome?
The God Consciousness comes into being when one has the ability to connect at will; can move into and out of, and utilize these energies at their full capacity. To develop this ability one must have a knowledge of the truth regarding the Nature of God, Man's relationship to God, and Man's relationship to man... not a “belief system” but a Knowledge of Truth which resides within oneself; inborn, innate... God given. In addition to knowing one must live a life which is parallel to and comes from within this knowledge; these truths, these ethics.
It is again unequivocally true that we are connected and One with the Godhead, and that the knowledge of this truth flows within the energy that connects us; Man to Man and Man to the Godhead. The power and the institutionalized, dogma based culture of the church, along with the heavy handed influence and status quo of society has muted and over-shadowed our ability to know this energy and this truth (centuries of religious culture based in fear, guilt, judgment, etc.).
