CHURCH HISTORY
If you have read the first three writings in this section you should now realize that the "Church" was not truly establish for the worship of God, but rather for Control, Power, and Wealth... Thank you Emperor Constantine and the next 1,000 years of Popes.
You should now understand that the structure of the church was borrowed, copied from the religion of the Persian Empire, Zoroastrianism, and not developed through "Devine Inspiration" or any revelation from God. Constantine installed a Hierarchical organizational structure which puts a very few at the top, at the expense of the very many of us on the bottom.
You should further understand that the Church Leadership has been questionable at best: immoral, unethical, and certainly not an example of what a Godly Leader of the Church should be.
Today the authority of the Church is challenged at almost every intersection: Sexual behavior of Priests - and if this exists among the Priests, what about the Bishops and the Cardinals who were also once Priests... what about the Pope himself?
Church history is full of intrigues: Murder and assassinations; Wars and Crusades; the "Inquisitions" where the church killed as many as 30,000 individuals; mostly for not practicing the religion "Correctly" (Heresy). Also, the Crusades. The Crusades were a series of military campaigns launched by the Pope between 1095 and 1291 against Muslim rulers for the recovery and defense of the Holy Land, primarily Jerusalem. Somewhere between 4 and 9 million individuals lost their lives under the orders from the Pope. Who won the Crusades??? not the Christians.
There is so much more but this should be enough to see that the Catholic Church is not a God Centered organization, but something else completely. And the Pope, less a Man of God and more a Man who uses God as a means to wealth and Power.
